Welcoming & Fresh Start
By Sol-Hyang Park, Editor-in-chief
In spring, with the warm weather, there are new things to do and things that you want to start. So, March seems to be the season that goes best with the word "start." March, which marks the beginning, is approaching us.
For many students, March will be the month to set another goal and mindset as the new semester begins. For freshmen, March will feel like a new world is opening up. I would like to congratulate freshmen on entering Sangmyung University, despite many restrictions and difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I am very sorry that there are still limitations in energetic college life you dreamed of.
Likewise, we have been working mainly online, such as releasing webzine publications or holding an essay contest, due to COVID-19. This year, I hope to do various face-to-face activities such as quiz events with students. I look forward to the situation getting better, so 2022 will be a year where we can think of hope rather than despair.
March is a month of start and excitement – As the saying goes, “Well begun is half done,” -so I hope you start a healthy, enjoyable and worthwhile university life. We are also planning to do various activities this year with a new mindset. We will release a total of four publications this year, recruit new members, and hold fresh events. Please look forward to our future activities!
